What’s the best way to raise ability levels on neopets?

I don’t have any neggs.I want to gain my ability levels and the only way is to buy a radioactive negg, a plaid negg or spin the wheel of excitement and land on the light faerie (almost impossible). Is it worth it to buy those neggs just to raise my ability level on neopets?

Besides using neggs and the Wheel of Excitement, there are other ways to increase the Strength, Defense, and Movement levels of your pet.
You can also raise your pet’s level by going to Cap’n Threelegs’ Swashbuckling Academy (http://www.neopets.com/pirates/academy.phtml) where you pay for courses (in Strength, Agility, Defense, Endurance, or Level) with Dubloons.
Also if you go to the Mystery Island Training School (http://www.neopets.com/island/training.phtml) and pay for courses (in Strength, Agility, Defense, Endurance, or Level) with codestones you can also increase the ability levels of your pets.
Bottled faeries (of the Earth, Air, Light, Water, Fire, and Dark persuasions) can also increase your pet’s ability levels.
