How do you get fancy paint brushes on Neopets?

If you send out refferals to like, 75 people you will get a fancy PB at random, but I really don’t think you should start refferals because they take ages, really.
Best way to get them is to save up alot of NPs & search the Auction House. For the most part they are cheaper over there.
If you have some good rare items up for trade, surf the Trading Post. Maybe you’ll find some good deals.
I have to warn you though, Paint Brushes are darned expensive. The cheapest are Christmas PBs which cost 500k, & the rarer ones like Halloween, Pirate, & Faerie go into the millions.
Its much cheaper to buy all the pieces of the Lab Map instead.

Play games and earn up some NP. Then visit shops or the trading post and see if someone is trying to get rid of one. Also they sometimes are given to you free of charge in a random events.
